Dick Dale Europa-Tournee 2009 fällt erneut aus…
Offenbar wurde die geplante Europa-Tournee von Dick Dale nach der 2007er Absage (damals wegen seiner Krebserkrankung) auch für 2009 erneut abgesagt.
Diesmal nicht wegen einer erneuten Erkrankung, sondern wegen angeblicher Probleme mit dem europäischen Organisator/Booker.
Auf Dick Dales Website liest sich das so:
“Due to unfortunate circumstances involving our European booking agency we are forced to cancel plans for the October/November Dick Dale Europe tour. This comes at an especially bad time as I am now fresh off a very successful US/Canadian tour and was very much looking forward to playing for my beloved Dick Dale family of fans in Europe for the first time since dealing with cancer. Please know that I will re-group with a new agency and be over there as soon as possible. I love you all and I thank you all so much for your prayers and positive e-mails from across Europe during my battle with cancer....”
Schade eigentlich, so langsam glaube ich nicht mehr daran, Herrn Dale nochmal in Europa live zu erleben…
